Our beloved parakeet got out.Yellow/green male. His name is Wendy Bird. Our daughter named him before we knew his sex. His mate is distraught and our daughters are crying. I feel just sick. I put them out on the front porch to get them some fresh air while cleaning with bleach in the house. I made sure that the cage doors were secured down. Something knocked over the cage and they both were gone but we found our female in the neighbors yard .
